Forty homes, not four hundred
Salato is the counter-argument to the tower boom happening a mile up the beach. Nine stories, forty residences, one block from the sand on Briny Avenue — a building small enough that you will know your neighbors and the staff will know your name. U.S. Development topped it out in May 2025, with Kast Construction building and Randall Stofft Architects designing.
The floor plans are the story. Every published plan runs over 3,300 square feet with three to five bedrooms, which puts Salato in single-family-home territory rather than condo territory — extra-wide layouts and deep terraces instead of the narrow, deep boxes a tall tower forces. Interiors are by Steven G, and while residences are still finishing there is a window to specify your own.
The published residences
Plans are named for painters. Availability changes constantly and not every plan is still on the board — the developer reported the building roughly 70% sold. Ask me what is actually left before you get attached to one.

Briny Avenue
Briny Avenue puts you a block off the sand and inside the walkable part of Pompano — the fishing pier, the beach restaurants and the reworked oceanfront promenade the city spent more than $50 million on. Pompano Beach now has more oceanfront condominium buildings under construction or in pre-construction than any other beach town in Florida, and Salato is one of the few that is finished rather than promised.

I'll set up a private tour, no cost or obligation. With residences still finishing, the customization window is the part worth moving on — I will tell you which plans still have it and which are past the deadline.
