The Development

A sculptural tower two blocks from the beach

Moore Group Corporation, a Baldwin, New York-based developer, assembled five lots at 2317 North Ocean Boulevard between 2021 and 2022 for $5.54 million and proposed Amalfi: a 22-story, 38-unit condominium designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design. The design’s most visible feature is cantilevered, irregularly stacked balconies that give the tower a distinct silhouette — a coralline-stone podium below a white GFRC-panel tower.

Fort Lauderdale’s Planning & Zoning Board approved the project with conditions in April 2026 after months of public debate; the approval was contested and reviewed again by the City Commission. No sales launch date has been published yet.
