A Ritz-Carlton address on Harbor Island

Related Group and New York’s Macklowe Properties are bringing the Ritz-Carlton brand to North Bay Village with two 43-story, roughly 500-foot towers on Harbor Island — the small waterfront enclave between the Miami mainland and Miami Beach, reached via the 79th Street Causeway. Plans call for 364 residences, a 42-slip private marina, and a 9,000-square-foot public waterfront park as part of the development’s Special Area Plan approval.

This is genuinely early-stage: the project cleared zoning approval in September 2025, and as of this writing the developers have not yet officially opened sales or released floor plans and pricing. I’m watching this one closely and will have real numbers the moment they’re public — in the meantime, I can register your interest so you’re not finding out secondhand.

Harbor Island itself is largely low-density today, which is exactly why a project at this scale is such a shift for the neighborhood.
